Near Complete Dinosaur Fossil Misdated 7/24/08 Japanese and Mongolian scientists recovered a Tarbosaurus from sandstone in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Researchers date the fossil at 70 million years old simply because it was discovered from in the Cretaceous geologic column. We know that the geologic column was deposited rapidly in the flood and that these layers cannot possibly represent millions of years for two reasons. Fossilized trees have been discovered upright through numerous layers. Also there is no evidence of erosion which would have taken place unless the layers were never exposed to the atmosphere for very long. his is true in the case of the flood which laid down layers of sediments rapidly preventing erosion. Another important point is that circular reasoning is used in dating fossils. When evos want to date fossils, they date based on the geologic layer, but when they date layers, they use the fossils found in the layer neither of which is accurately supported by radiometric dating methods. Researchers View Detrimental Mutations in Tasmanian Devils as Evolution 7/23/08 Since scientists never have examples of positive mutations they are left with attempts to find evidence of evolution in negative mutations as in the case of Devil facial tumor disease (DFTD) affecting Tasmanian Devils. This condition is a contagious form of cancer that has been infecting the animals since 1996. Some zoologists believe the Devils will be extinct in 25 years. It's a bit difficult to evolve when you're.......DEAD!

New British TV Program to Air: Dawkins on Darwin 7/23/08
Since Antony Flew and Ben Stein made him look foolish, the angry little man has gone cowering into Brit pop culture. The program Dawkins on Darwin will air in Britain to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Darwin's paper presentation to the Linnean society. "In these barren, thoughtless times, Dawkins gives people something substantial to chew on. His audience is surprisingly grateful, and also relieved to see someone slapping creationists about and tossing them into the primordial soup, as well as explaining atheism positively. Dawkins refuses to share a stage with creationists. “I don’t like giving them the oxygen of respectability, the feeling that if they’re up on a platform debating with a scientist, there must be real disagreement. Really now Rich. Would it REALLY be because Darwinism is on life support and creationists leave you mumbling like the ape you claim we evolved from? I must ask you Rich...if you're still so in love with Charlie's ramblings, why did you resort to panspermia as an alternative to explain life on earth?

Evidence of "Ancient" Retrovirus Discovered in Human DNA 7/23/08 Last year scientists "brought back to life" what they refer to as an "ancient" retrovirus. Researchers have now found traces of the virus in human DNA and cite this as evidence that this battle between the retrovirus and humans has been going on for millions of years. I thought we WERE viruses millions of years ago. How do you determine which amino acids are new and which are millions of years old? Hmmm.

Ockham's Principle and Cladistics: New Method of Taxonomic Classification 7/22/08 Cladograms are new evolution trees developed by the idea that the fewer changes there are between species, the more closely they are related. Ocham's Razor suggests that the simplest explanation tends to be the correct one. However, considering that evolution necessitates that numerous natural laws be violated in the process including entropy, evolution is far from a "simple" explanation. The simplest explanation of similarities between species is that they have a common designer.

New PBS Program Claims Stories in the Bible Were Fabricated 7/21/08 The all knowing all seeing producers of the PBS program NOVA now know that stories in the Bible were made up. They will be imparting their wisdom upon us when they air their supernatural insight on November 18. "It challenges the Bible's stories if you want to read them literally, and that will disturb many people," says archaeologist William Dever, who specializes in Israel's history. "But it explains how and why these stories ever came to be told in the first place, and how and why they were written down." The program says the Bible was written in the sixth century BC and that hundreds of authors contributed. Maybe they forgot to take a look at the Codex Sinaiticus...the 4th century version of the New Testament. What is disturbing is the entropic affect on the human brain's ability to reason!

California Now Attempting to Keep Students Educated in Christian Schools Out of Their State Colleges 7/20/08 The California university school system must really hate God. They are now refusing to accept students into state universities who received Christian educations...or for that matter even used textbooks that mention God. "Christian schools will have to decide: teach from a Christian worldview and eliminate your student's ability to attend a UC school, or teach from a secular worldview, so that the kids can enter the UC school system." Oh...by the way...it's ok if you were taught from Muslim or Hindu textbooks but not Christian ones. Here's my question: Why on earth would a Christian student want to attend a California state university anyway? That would be like using Superbowl tickets to get into a mud wrestling match.

Professor Antony Flew Reviews Dawkins' book God Delusion 7/20/08 Professor Antony Flew was once considered to be one of the 20th century's most renown atheists while lecturing at prestigious universities including Oxford and Aberdeen until one day the light suddenly come on. Professor Flew's latest book bloodies up Dawkins quite a bit. After the beating he took from Ben Stein in Expelled, Maybe Dawkins should take a sabbatical... preferably of permanent proportions.

Researchers Discover We Began Talking as Fish 7/17/08 The Journal of Science reports that a frog makes a humming noise to attract a mate (referred to as singing by researchers), therefore we can conclude that humans talking began as neurons in fish. "I'm not saying fish have a language or are using higher powers of the brain," he added quickly. "But some of the networks of neurons, nerve cells in the brain, are very ancient." The whole nervous system basis that led to speech originated in fish hundreds of millions of years ago, he said. (Andrew H. Bass of Cornell...not the fish. But we now know where his last name came from. I wonder if he evolved from Earnest T.)

Ben Stein's movie a blow to Evos!
While not a knock out punch...YET, Expelled, the Movie was certainly worthy of a standing eight count. Stein interviewed several college professors that had been "expelled" by "big science" for having the gall to challenge Darwin's sacred theory. They were either ostracized or just outright fired. The best part was near the end when Stein interviewed Richard Dawkins and had him admitting that the complexity of the human cell suggested intelligent design. While not conceding that the God of the Bible could have been responsible, he did suggest the panspermia theory as an alternative. Haw insane is that!? He believes it was intelligence but he KNOWS it wasn't God. The look in his eyes said it all. He knew he had been whupped!

Dinosaur Soft Tissue serves yet Another Blow to Evolution and the Old Earth theory

Missing Link Watch
Since Darwin's release of The Origin of Species in 1859 the search has been on to find the missing links that Darwin predicted would be discovered were his theory correct. After-all, there are numerous transitional forms between the current species, so we should be literally tripping over transitional fossils. Since man is a relatively new species, transitional hominids should be particularly abundant. Scientists should be uncovering them any day now, so we've established the Missing Link Watch. As the missing links are discovered, we will maintain a running total. Some were possibly misplaced prior to Darwin's publication of The Origin of Species in 1859, so we'll just begin our count from that date.
